As an institution of higher education, Garrett College takes the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors very seriously. The College’s Emergency Response Guide is designed to offer guidance to the campus community in response to incidents or emergencies that may occur on campus or at college facilities. This guide is used in conjunction with the College’s Emergency Operations Plan. The College’s Emergency Operations Plan, used by campus officials, effectively coordinates the use of College and community resources to protect life and property both during and immediately following a major crisis or disturbance on or near Garrett College or one of its off-site locations.
